Poster for Iran film ‘Panah’ jells prior to Cannes Film Market

Poster designed for Iran film ‘Panah’ has been unveiled prior to premiere at Cannes Film Market.

Poster designed for Iran film ‘Panah’ directed by Ahmad Bahrami has been revealed in the run up to presentation at 2017 Cannes Film Market.

The film will make its international debut at the event based in France with a number of screenings for the international audience.

Marché du Film, to be held in May 2017, will play host to the international debut of Bahrami’s movie.

The film was made in Iran’s central desert (known as Dashte-Kavir in Persian) that has a hot dry climate.

Exceptional features of the movie, among others, included shooting with anamorphic lenses to depict the desert in vast long shots.

‘Panah’ is about a young man, named Panah, who lives in a small village in desert. He who has always helped his family cannot seem to make a decision for a leave or stay.

The film will go on the market’s screen several times for cinema professionals, producers, and agents, among others.

More than 12,000 professionals, including 3,200 producers, 1,200 sale agents, 1,750 buyers and 800 festival organizers, will come together at this year’s market.

The market is the business counterpart of the Cannes Film Festival with latest edition of the later slated for May 17-28 in the French city of Cannes.
